女孩嫁給年輕單純又依賴母親的丈夫，新婚生活卻不如她想像中的甜蜜。一日她去拜訪女性作家好友，卻意外認識一位有魅力又富侵略性的男子，兩人暗地展開不倫戀情。導演膽大心細地碰觸性覺醒、婚外情、性癖好、同性戀等保守社會下的禁忌話題，在優美的攝影構圖與節制的場面調度之中，對比出的情感氛圍與情慾張力也因此更加飽滿強烈。
A close relationship between two young women became complicated when Duyen threw herself into an unconsummated marriage. Cam was jealous and pushed her into the arms of a crude and sexual man, but it only plunges Cam deeper into her loneliness. Duyen could not resist his seduction. She discovers her woman instincts but at the same time is torn by traditional morality…
