蔡明亮和法國羅浮宮聯合製作，也是首部羅浮宮典藏電影。一位台灣導演被請到羅浮宮拍《莎樂美》，才剛開拍就狀況連連，混亂中導演接到母親過世的消息，女製片不得不飛到台北參加葬禮。辦完喪事的導演陷入昏迷，母親的鬼魂遲遲不肯離去，女製片只好在陌生的城市裡等他醒來。電影終於又繼續拍攝，大家又迷失在羅浮宮的地下道裡……。
This transnational production is the first film collected by the Louvre Museum. A Taiwanese filmmaker makes a film based on the myth of Salomé at the Louvre. He insists on giving the part of King Herod to the French actor Jean-Pierre LÈAUD. For the box-office’s sake, a popular model is cast as Salomé. But problems arise as soon as filming begins…
