麥玉珍，十四年前從越南嫁至彰化縣秀水鄉，育有兩名子女，因與先生意見不合，在七年前離婚。之後她常到警察局擔任翻譯工作，發現許多外籍配偶遭受家暴等不合理對待，因此成立了台灣新移民協會，一心想要協助外籍姊妹爭取權益。無論遭遇任何挫折，都無法阻止她幫助外籍姊妹的決心！究竟是怎麼樣的女人，能在平凡中展現這麼大的力量？

Vietnamese immigrant Yuzhen worked as interpreter for the police station after divorce. She found out many immigrant sisters suffering from domestic violence and treated unfairly. Therefore, she decided to establish the Taiwan New Immigration Association to get more rights and respects for the sisters deserved. She suffered from many frustrations, however that didn’t prevent her determination from helping the foreign sisters.
