愛蓮和阿來分別住在軒尼詩道的兩旁，阿來為人隨和，沒什麼大理想，愛蓮寡言倔強、不喜交際。阿來母親替兩人相親，但雙方完全不感興趣，還故意把自己打扮成醜男醜婦。直到一次巧遇，放下了當日相親時的那份抗拒，愛意也因而慢慢地萌生……。湯唯繼《色‧戒》之後備受矚目的新作，與張學友合飾這對歡喜冤家，《甜蜜蜜》編劇最新導演力作。

 

Well over thirty, Loi is still carefree like a perpetual teenager. His mom sets him up on a blind date with Oi-lin, a quiet and stubborn girl-next-door. These two from different world both go out of their way to make themselves as unattractive as possible to the other person. The film is about how they meet, and how they enter one another’s story.
