全片以環保電影為基調，卻能夠重新擴展出一個嶄新的視角。片中定睛注視三個即將因暖化現象而消失的美麗島嶼：太平洋上的吐瓦魯，純樸卻豐富的常民生活；歐洲水都威尼斯，淹水時仍然營運的旅館、酒吧，如同幻夢；以及美洲阿拉斯加的冰上山崖。鏡頭對地球上難以置信的美景和迥異的文化儀式，深致讚美與歎惋。跳脫環保紀錄片的格局，充滿省思與詩意。

The movie takes a close look at three beautiful islands, shaken by climate change- Tuvalu in the South Pacific, Venice in Italy and Shishmaref in Alaska. Their cultures and histories are facing “death” as the homelands are declining. It is a voyage listening to the sound of nature while witnessing people and their lives slowly and quietly sinking under the water.
