改編自知名巴西作家羅伯托卡羅斯的真實故事，講述六歲的羅伯托被母親帶到政府提供的免費教育機構，歷經無數次逃學及被抓之後，他遇見來自法國的女學者瑪格麗特。從抗拒逃離、在街頭遭受霸凌再躲回瑪格麗特的公寓，她用無比的耐心與愛心，逐漸打開他的心防……。威尼斯影后瑪麗亞德梅黛洛詮釋極富愛心的女學者，宛如巴西版《攻其不備》。

Based on the life of Roberto Carlos RAMOS, at six, he is sent to an institution for poor children in Belo Horizonte. Endowed with a fertile imagination, at 13 he’s still illiterate, with more than 100 breaks in his record, and having been diagnosed as irredeemable. The encounter with a French pedagogue will forever change the life of Roberto.
