1982年6月，以色列發動第五次中東戰爭，《與巴席爾跳華爾滋》描繪此役老兵的夢靨，本片則描繪當下的恐懼。一輛以色列坦克被指派進入敵方廢墟偵查，四位二十歲出頭沒打過仗的菜鳥，只期望能安全退伍。在死亡恐怖的氛圍之中，面對手無寸鐵的敵方難民，生死就握在他們手中，更必須在直覺與人道間做出抉擇。看似簡單的任務，即將瀕臨全面失控……。
The First Lebanon War, June 1982, a lone tank is dispatched to search a hostile town that has already been bombarded by the Israel Air Force. What seems to be a simple mission gets gradually out of control and turns into a death trap, a shivering nightmare. The tank’s crew is confronted by the conflict between the basic instincts and human conscious claims its victims.
