Ditte is part of a renowned family of bakers and a successful gallery owner. She is going to work in New York with her boyfriend. The future is bright and simple. When Ditte´s beloved father falls seriously ill Ditte calls off the move to New York in order to be with him and before long her own way of life hangs in the balance.
