古泰雅部落中，頭目為了族人生存問題，帶著族人在雲霧山中遷徙漂浪、尋找新住地，在雲霧之中，他誤入現代一座拆遷的城市；現代城市中，泰雅族原民局局長因為縣府拆遷原住民違建，他滿懷歉意地到部落中，在難過的情緒下，不幸遭受意外昏迷臥病。於是，昏迷臥病的現代局長和古代頭目，開始展開一連串的對話……。
Based on the ancient Atayal adage, passed down in generations, Everlasting Moments is the first Taiwanese film in indigenous languages. In an ancient community, indigenous people following ancestors’ knowledge and live with nature peacefully. Crossing time and space, an indigenous man met an ancient spirit. They decide to leave the city and to look for the community in the dreams.
