Biela is a rustic heiress of great portions of land. She moves to live with her cousin and preceptor after her father’s death. Henceforth her life changes radically and her unpretentious self gets in confrontation with the behavior imposed by her new family. From one granted wish to another, Biela restrains herself, changing her ways until her true self emerges again.
